Hello fellow companions!

Version 1.4.2, which has been share on Patreon and SubscribeStar a month ago, has been published here! The changelog can be found bellow. Version 1.5.2 is already available for Patreons or Subscribers having the early release benefits, and will be published here on Saturday, 7th December.

Preliminary notes

This version marks a significant change, driven by multiple improvements and enhancements:

  • Many new artwork drawn by an amazing artist (Diealot)
  • Code reworks & enhancements
  • Resolution of numerous bugs (I lost count after 80)
  • Correction of countless typos (also too many to tally)
  • text formating improvements (including the removal of excessive linke breaks)
  • ...

With my growing familiarity with the technologies behind the game, I was able to implement these extensive code enhancements. While there is still much to be done and some errors may linger for now, the overall gaming experience should be vastly improved.

New artwork are mostly available in the initial scenes and quests. To fully appreciate all the updates, I recommend starting anew. However, the choice is entirely yours!

A gallery may be added in the future, but that is not a priority for the upcoming releases.

Added:

  • Artwork:
    • A variety of new illustrations by Diealot for several scenes, dynamically tailored base on your character's traits (e.g., hair color):
      • First time masturbationg: 1 new art
      • First time camping: 2 new arts
      • Second time camping: 1 new art
      • Thirst time camping: 2 new arts
      • Fourth time camping: 1 new art
      • Hunt quests: 1 new art, dynamically tailored base on your character's traits (e.g., hair color) and some other variables

    • MC sideview (arts drawn by Diealot)
      • You can now see your main character in the sidebar
      • The image adapt to her traits, clothing, weapon, and state of arousal
  • Scenes:
    • Two new scenes at the campsite with your werewolf companion and your octopog companion (one scene each), who did not have one previously. In order to trigger these scenes, they must be in your party, and please note that they may not occur every night. The scene with your octopog companion is dependent on your arousal level.
  • Options:
    • X-ray option:
      • On: x-ray view displayed by default, with an option to disable
      • Off: x-ray view not displayed by default, with an option to enable
      • Never: x-ray view not displayed, and no option suggesting to enable it
  • World:
    • Monbourg:
      • The village image has been replaced by a detailed map (drawn by Diealot)
      • You can navigate the village by clicking on map icons
      • Entry to the hospital is available, though access is currently restricted for future updates
      • The map changes with the time of day and includes a weather display (not currently affecting gameplay)
    • Morya:
      • The city image has been replaced by a detailed map (drawn by Diealot)
      • You can navigate the city by clicking on map icons
      • The map changes with the time of day and includes a weather display (not currently affecting gameplay)
    • Cave between Morya & Monbourg:
      • New artwork (drawn by Diealot) to represent the different rooms
      • The passages are now clickable on the images
    • A hairdresser has been added in Morya and Boloyam cities for hair color changes
  • Menus:
    • Quests: introduction of a quest menus in the sidebar, that offer hints about ongoing tasks

Fixes:

  • Herb quest: resolved a bug after obtaining the first Aphrodyte leaf
  • Quest to Boloyam: resolved a bug where defeat by the demon previously caused quest progression problems when winning against any other creature afterwards
  • Corrected typos in approximately 20 scenes (renctly discovered that my spell checker may have been too accusomed to my native language)
  • Addressed around 30 balise errors in various passages and scenes
  • Fixed soft locks in Morya & Boloyam bedrooms when too aroused to sleep at night (now properly suggests masturbation before sleeping)
  • Adjusted the code to prevent "mistakes" before completing the orphanage quest
  • Repaired broken images in initial scenes
  • Shops:
    • Corrected selling texts for three wrongly displayed items
    • Icons for unavailable items will no longer be displayed
  • Fixed directionnal errors in the Monbourg to Morya cave (east instead of west)
  • Resolved an issue during a repeatable quest that previously left it stuck forever if they leveled up during a fight
  • Fixed two image issues in tower fights
  • Lock at the quest n°17 when helping farmers near Morya ==> you now can get your rewards and continue forwards by talking to the guild receptionist
  • Fixed an issue making impossible to get the quest unlocking boloyam city or the octopog companion
  • Fixed 2 images issue while camping or in the quest where you have to get herbs for the alchemist
  • Fixed issues in the cave giving error code when attacked by monsters
  • And other miscellaneous fixes...

Changes:

  • Code rework for enhanced UI/UX
    • Merged codes for different mission boards and guild receptionists, eliminating unwanted line breaks and improving quest hints
    • Most Morya quests can now be accepted at Monbourg's guild and Boloyam's guild after completing the Boloyam quest
    • You can now take most Morya's quests at Monbourg's guild and Boloyam's guild once you've done the quest to Boloyam
    • Streamlined combat codes for clarity in player actions
    • Improved clarity in tower fight code
    • Removed unwanted line breaks in various locations including caves, combat outcomes, character creation, party management and spell management
  • Character creation
    • Visualize your character's appearance before finalizing your choices
    • Stats now vary based on height and weight
    • dded hints regarding the impact of stats
    • Text has been reworked for clarity
  • And other miscellaneous changes...
